Just decided to refresh my memory on math strategies and read official ETS math review and right away found myself in an awkward situation. Can anyone explain to me why it is so hard to follow this:

I thought in b) the answer will be False, since sqrt(16) will be the +4 and -4…

Thank you so much! Magoosh explains it really well, and what they say makes a lot more sense. But still, I don’t understand why ETS uses specifically that term “root”, mentioning that there are exactly two roots for every positive n for every even order root.

Is that only me who finds it confusing?
