you can do with the unit digit method

all you have to do is
list the unit digit of 3
that is 3 = 3, 9 , 7 , 1
and 7 = 7 , 9 , 3, 1

so both have 4 unit digit now
17/4 we get unit digit as 3
13/4 we get unit digit as 7

now add 3 and 4 we get 10 so remainder is zero.
that’s it
