Hi everyone,

I am new to the GRE journey and would like some advice on what plan to start with. I did a gregmat mock test initially to test where I was at and scored 162Q/ 153V. My goal is 330+ and specifically 169Q and I’d like to take the GRE in 1 month or 1.5 months max. I have not touched high school maths for at least 5 years. I have a bachelor in Finance.

I’ve been looking at the 1 month plan and the Overwhelmed plan. For quant, in the 1 month plan, before you start week 1 you have to do the GRE Math Review for foundations first. However in the Overwhelmed plan you just go straight to PrepSwift and start watching videos there.

My question is: with my 169Q goal which plan should I follow?

You can do either. Maybe try the 1 month plan because it has a clear timeline for getting you through the material. I have seen students sometimes have trouble navigating an exact 1.5 month timeline with the I’m Overwhelmed plan. If the 1 month plan is overwhelming after a day or two, then switch over the other plan. Hope this helps!

I took the GRE last May and got a 170Q, and I used the 1 month plan. However, my experience and background could be vastly different from yours. Try one and if it doesn’t work, then try another
