I dint understand why the question specified smallest value of x when it could’ve just said what’s the 10th value.

I dint understand why the question specified smallest value of x when it could’ve just said what’s the 10th value.
Assume the three consecutive positive integers are a, a + 1, and a + 2. Their sum is
x = 3a + 3 = 3(a + 1).
For this sum to be even, a must be odd. Since a is also a positive integer, we can represent it as a = 2k + 1 for integers k \geq 0.
Substituting this into our equation for x, we get x = 3((2k + 1) + 1) = 6k + 6.
The expression for x generates a set of positive multiples of 6. Asking for the “10th value” of a set makes no sense because a set is a collection of objects without any inherent order.
