Hi,

I took the Flashcards Group 1 Quiz after watching all the videos from part 1-3 of module 1 of the i am overwhelmed plan (IAOP). I did not know the LCM trick that he shares in the answer and I want to make sure that I didn’t miss anything while watching the IAOP lecture videos. I don’t remember GregMat telling us about this trick in the lecture video, but did he say something that maybe implied this trick? I am thinking maybe he taught us something in the video and I didn’t pick it up properly and failed to apply it to the question which worries me because what if i am doing that with other lecture videos too.

I think this question can be solved with the definition of an LCM alone, so I wouldn’t worry too much. Generally, tricks will only take you so far. If you understand why things work the way they do, then you might make more questions accessible to you. For example, you may have to find the LCM of 5 numbers for another question, so relying on the core concept is much more practical than having to learn a trick for that too.

If you can precisely define every concept, then you’re in the right track.
