You have it the other way round.

Try to think of the inequality graph :bar_chart: as a fraction ie numerator, the division bar and the denominator.

For all lines except vertical lines

  1. Shade the numerator side if y > mx + c
  2. Shade the denominator side if y < mx + c

For vertical lines,

  1. Shade right for y > mx + c.
  2. Shade left for y < mx + c

***y must be on the LHS of the inequality.
