The provided quiz question: How many values on the number line are a distance of 5 away from the number 3?
My question is why the answer 2? Does it have to do with the wording of the question? Are they asking me the combined number of values from both the left and right side of the number line? I read the question and thought it meant the number of values (not including 3) away from 3.
