Google says that it is for a 4 sided polygon to be a trapezoid it should have atleast one parallel side. Which says that a trapezoid can have 2 parallel sides as well.

You’re right about the definition.

However, that doesn’t change the answer because

  • Option D can be a non-square rhombus
  • Option E can be a non-square rectangle

Nevertheless, the definition of a trapezoid needs correction.
