I know m is an even function since it is a parabola. For n, isn’t that a square root function? I get that both are symmetrical to the y-axis, but aren’t square root functions not even nor odd since the degree is a fraction?
Thanks,
Anny

What makes you think n is a square root function? Would a square root function give a straight line?
The way to check if a function is even from looking at a sketch is to look for reflection across the y-axis which n does have.
Oh oops thank you!
