Question TC & SE Session 12 Homework

Hey guys! I was doing the below question (big book test 3, section 3, question 6) - and got A. My reasoning was mostly just that it sounds right? After all, if terms are exchanged between fields and then confused, that’s a bad thing / a risky factor, right? Well, the answer is E. I can see how E is also right, but I’m unsure how A is wrong, and how to unequivocally state that E is correct. Thanks!

Hi, if you see the sentence after first comma(,) its saying : its telling we should investigate the extent to which terms from one field can be used by other.
I don’t see how you can use confused with here. Because it’s written in the sentence before comma borrowing from one field to enrich other → used/utilized
I hope it helps.
