Can someone help me with these two questions?
For question 11 - why is A wrong? how does feed with greater intensity suggests more active guppy?
For question 12, I was closed to choosing B but to be honest, I couldn’t distinguish the difference between B and C.
For question 11 think about it this way: if you take a starving person and a person who is full and put a whole pizza in front of them, who is going to be more “active?”
For question 12 is the answer a? Presented means to give and shown means to make something visible. Explained means makes something clear and if we focus on the first sentence “although … it is clear” and “not easily demonstrated” I think we can take demonstrated to mean “make clear” or explain. Could be wrong though!
Thanks! For 11, feels counterintuitive ie if I am hungry, I would probably be less active but I suppose the word of zeus prevails. I think my issue is comprehending that sentence and its relation with being hungry.
For 12, the answer is shown. To be honest, the only wrong answer from my perspective is protested. The rest feels awfully similar in meaning but I narrow it down to presented and shown. Decided to choose shown because it’s about showing an example rather than presenting an example although I am unsure if my explanation holds water because I am choosing using my ‘ear’
Ahh good to know about question 12. That’s a tricky one but makes sense I suppose.
For 11 it makes sense that’s it’s counterintuitive since it’s an inference question. Another way to think about it is when you eat a lot, maybe after Turkey day dinner or a buffet with lots of dishes how do you feel? I usually feel bloated and sluggish and the last thing I wanna do is move around a lot. However, when I’m hungry I am very motivated to find food as quickly as I can and get it in my belly. I’ll even walk to the local store or bakery to get it. Before I eat I’m actively looking for food. After I eat I’m not active at all.
Anyway, hope studying is going well!

Haha makes sense particularly within the context of the passage. Somehow I keep thinking that the first example (full = safer) is a contrast with the second example (less active = safer) but your example put things into a proper context that less active = safer for both scenario.
Thanks! likewise hope your study has been well too!
