Reading comprehensions

In RCs, when we identify the functions of a sentence, one of the categories I’m unable to understand is “concession”.
Can someone help me how to identify and understand them please?
Also, it would be great if you could link to any online resources or any Gregmat’s video (that I may have missed).
Thanks in advance!

Hey, concession is made to make your argument more persuasive by slightly aggressing with the other side(to sound unbiased and avoid absolute remarks). For example, an author won’t write something like this:
XYZ is the best country in the world to live.
rather:
Although there are occasional challenges like blah blah, XYZ is one of the best countries to live in.

Hope this helps.

Hey! Yeah that surely helps.

Also, do words like "although, “though”, “even though”, “despite”, etc. indicate concession? And are there any more words/phrases that I should know?
