Recently Uploaded PrepSwift Sequences (1) Quiz Q7

First post on the forum, so pardon me if the format isn’t upto the mark:

I need help with the mentioned question from a recent prepswift quiz (Q7 from Sequences 1). I am not sure whether there is an error with my understanding or the solution provided itself. (I have attached both the question as well as the solution along)

As per my understanding: if we consider n+1 as 3 that would mean n=2 and n-1=1, making the rule equation A3 = 2 * A1 + 3 * A2 + 4. Although I do agree the solution should be D, but the rule equation in the solution seems to be making incorrect use of the ‘n’ values.

According to the solution: 3 * A1 (which means n=1, so LHS should then be n+1= 2 and not A3 as the solution has shown) So although the reason for answer being D is correct, the form of the equation and use of ‘n’ values seems incorrect.

Kindly correct me if I am going wrong somewhere or need clarity with my question. Appreciate the help!

You’re right - this was a typo which we’ve fixed.

Thanks, appreciate the response!
