Regarding GRE Verbal Hard Reset

Hello Team ,

Can anyone pls let me know what videos should I watch if I am doing a hard reset on verbal strategies..

I have watched Gregmat 2 months plan upto week 7 for verbal and again gone through the 1 month plan and I am currently on week 4 day 5..

Can anyone pls help me out here to watch which videos or plan for a hard reset ?

If you’re resetting as part of preparation for a retake, start with this video.

As far as which series to watch, Vince just completed a Verbal Strategy series, which may be what you are looking for, since Vince provides a different perspective for how to approach the verbal. The other videos in the series can be found in the “New Content Feed” under the “Classes” tab.

Hello Alina,

I am not retaking the GRE. I am taking it for the first time… Should I start with series of Vince for verbal or prepswift.. ?

I’d probably start with Vince if you want to gain a thorough understanding of everything. The PrepSwift videos contain less information and examples than what’s in the 2 month plan. You might as well get another approach to the test with Vince’s videos to see if his methods resonate better for you.

Actually this was from the view that I recently gave an ETS powerprep1 untimed and below are my scores..

In Verbal in section 1 I scored 7/12 correct and in the section 2 I scored 5/15..

This is the number of se,tc, rc and cr questions I got wrong in the ets pp1..

Section 1 : TC wrong : 2 , correct: 1

Section 1 : SE wrong : 2 , correct : 2

Section 1 : CR : 1 correct

Section 1 : RC wrong : 1 , correct 3

Section 2 : TC wrong : 2 , TC correct : 2

Section 2 : SE wrong : 2 , SE correct : 1

Section 2 : CR : 1 wrong

Section 2 : RC wrong : 5, RC correct : 2

I have completed 30 groups of vocab mountain..

Do you recommend me to do a verbal hard reset or continue with the 1 month plan ?

Hello Team,
Can anyone help me with my query above. I have 1 month left for my GRE ?

Reset. Getting lots of questions untimed means what you did didn’t work.

Hello Vince,
Actually I did verbal vocab quizzes and se quizzes in which I scored 35/43 and 31/36. Do you think I need to do a verbal hard reset, and can it be done in a short amount of time ?

I would stop trying to figure this out and just do everything you can including tutoring to make sure it works in the time you have
