Nonviolent demonstrations often create such tensions that a community that has constantly refused to (i) _____ its injustices is forced to correct them: the injustices can no longer be (ii) _____.
How do we approach this question? Here the word which says its contrast is refused or forced?
How to approach this if the word which shows contrast is “refused”?
This question is a support , and if they’re saying that people constantly refused to _____ injustice are forced to correct them then a good guess for the blank is accept and this idea is repeated after the colon.
Hi, No It’s a contrast. This problem was discussed in Greg’s classes but I am confused. He said forced to is the contrast word here but I think refused to is also a contrast here.
I mean if you focused just on the word forced then sure its a contrast but if you divide the sentence via the colon than its a support
