I was taking Arithmetic Quiz #7 and came across this problem.
Looking at this, I understand 3 to be the quotient and 5/8 to be the remainder. From there, I was lost and was only further confused by the explanation video.

I think 5 is the remainder? Not sure.
Yeah that’s right, so what about 3 \frac{10}{16}? \frac{10}{16} = \frac{5}{8}, right? So what’s the remainder in this case?
