Remainders Integers Question

In the question “What is the maximum possible remainder of an integer divided by 13?”, why can’t the chosen integer be 0, which gives us 0/13 = 0, remainder: 13? Thanks!

0 is a multiple of every number. So since 13*0=0, we say 13 divides 0, and hence there is no remainder.
