I came across this question on the ETS Mentor Course. I was able to discard “entertains” & “diverts” easily because they didn’t form a pair but the solution says they are synonyms. I checked for synonyms of each of these words on Google as well but didn’t find it there.
Can anyone please help me understand if it’s correct? And if I come across something similar on the actual exam where these 2 options are indeed the correct answer, then how should I proceed?
