Are you sure the after “wild” is capitalized? Can you send a screenshot here to verify since if the case is true it is the first time I see this as well.

I don’t know the reason why it is capitalized but the meaning of this sentence is basically which, humans’ presence disturbed these hunter-gatherer’s food resources. The passage says hunters survive by hunting wild animals, but this human group appeared on this landscape try to domesticate some wild animals, and thus it will be difficult for hunter-gatherer identifiers to tell whether the hunters live by hunting true wild animals or fake domesticated animals which were done by other humans on the landscape.
