Should I take full practice tests now if I'm still early in quant prep?

I’m currently following two study plans in parallel, ‘I’m Overwhelmed’ plan for Quant and ‘1 month study plan’ for Verbal. I’ve just completed the first verbal module and reached the end of Week 1. At this point, the plan recommends taking one ETS power prep test or full GRE practice test.

My question is - should I take these tests now, even though in Quant I’ve only just finished arithmetic in the I’m Overwhelmed plan? If I should, what is the strategy to take these tests?

I would take a Gregmat test and only one, since there are only 5 real ETS practice tests. But it also won’t hurt to take the ETS one.

I usually assign practice tests in the final 4 weeks of a study plan
