Hey everyone. I have just started studying for the GRE and was wondering if I should write in my brand-new practice books. Gregmat might have covered this in a video I haven’t seen yet, but should I keep my ETS questions pristine for any future re-takes or write past answers/notes in my books for future question reviews/strategy studying?
Hi,
I haven’t come across anything exactly mentioned by Greg in any session on this. But, in one of the conversation with a student, he was enquiring if the student had written in the book or not. What he was looking to suggest then was, when you run out of material for study, repeat the same set and you might see a different information/understanding of them. He gave some personal example of watching ‘Inception’ movie 11 or 13 times to get his head around it :).
In short, do not write and it might come handy later. But if you know, you are going for admission and going to throw away, wouldn’t matter.
