Hi, I am confused as to how the triangles ABC and ADB are similar. I’m also confused as to how the labelling is to be done. I understand why the solution points out that it is important but can’t figure it out. is it similar because angle BAD and angle BAC are common, angle ADB and angle ABC are 90 deg and using the sum of interior angles property, the third angle is same too? and do you then just use the right angle as a point of reference to label?

If we let \angle A = x then can you angle chase to find all the remaining angles?
There are three triangles that are similar to each other, and you would show that they’re similar to each other by matching their corresponding angles.
