Hi Folks,
Wanted to enquire what fellow test-takers with a weaker vocabulary tend to do while starting their GRE prep.
Both Text Completion and Sentence Equivalence questions tend to have at least one or even multiple answer choices which we don’t understand/don’t know the meaning of yet.
Does everyone skip those questions and focus on their respective vocab first, learn 700-800 words? Check the meaning of the word while solving a particular question and taking note of the new word learnt in an excel/ other document? Or is there anything else ? Open to any other suggestions, do help please
Learn one set each day and practice your TC skills from the big book. If you don’t know the meaning of the words, use your process of elimination skill. If that fails, use your random answer choosing skills. As you go through Greg’s lists, you’ll see words that are familiar and gradually it becomes easier.
