Why is the answer E?
Is option D incorrect because social realists did not depict “the past” in harsh terms. Rather, they depicted “the present” in harsh terms. Is my understanding correct here?
I know why all other options are incorrect but I cannot figure out why is the answer E? and what is exactly wrong with Option D in this question?
