I was recently reviewing mock test 3 available on the website and came across this question in the second Quant section.

As per the solution I understand why the selected choices are correct, but what about the first 12 minutes when neither company has a train departing? Won’t that fulfill the question criteria as well? If not, could you help me understand why wouldn’t it?

OK they changed it later.

12 won’t work because at the 12th minute, a company from train B would depart.
