Hi Everyone,
I was hoping to get some advice on an optimal study plan. I’ve been following Greg’s 2 month study plan and took the PP1 Diagnostic at the end of W1. I did better than expected, scoring 167V / 167Q. If I wanted to hit 169 or 170Q, should I continue following the 2 month plan or abandon the plan and focus on weaker areas/hard questions?
Many thanks, and best of luck to all of you!
What is your overall score goal?
I would think that a considerable amount of the 2-month plan would be redundant for you (@gregmat may think differently).

I would say my ideal score goal is Quant at 170 and Verbal anywhere >165. An essay at or over 5 would be nice, but the emphasis is really on the Quant section.
Let me ask this instead: why did not you get a 170Q in PP1?

I fumbled the calculations in one of the geometry questions involving a 9-sided polygon and ran out of time before I could answer the final question (38/40). Two of my biggest weaknesses are misreading the question and making careless errors during calculation.

Running out of time is an issue; I expect a 170Q scorer to be able to complete the test in at most 3/4th of the time. You should use the remaining time to check your work.
I would consider jumping directly into the strategy part as a result; using PrepSwift if conceptual issues arise.

Thank you, I’ll shift my focus more towards strategy/speed. Are there any places in the 2-month plan/1-month plan/or general GregMat channel that you might recommend I look into for these strategies?

I think the later parts of the 1 and 2-month plans focus on strategy.

Do you suggest to continue watching prep swift videos instead of the regular videos from gregmat? Those are very long.
That depends on your case.
