Struggling with Word Problems

Hello.

I am having problem with doing Word Problems under timed conditions.

In untimed conditions, I do word problems correct most of the time by going step by step. But under time pressure, I either have to skip the problem (no matter how simple the problem is, as I later discover) or I am unable to comprehend it. Did anyone else go through this? How did you figure it out?

It sounds like you know how to solve the problem, but it’s more of a mental thing when you’re timing yourself. In that case, the only solution is to practice more under timed conditions.
