Stuck Practice Score

I am currently stuck at a practice score of 294 Q:146 V:148. I have been studying for about 2 months. I have worked around 700 practice problems. The program I am applying to requires a 300 with 150 in each section and a 3.0 in writing. I have taken the GRE last year ( at home) and made a 292. I cannot seem to get it any higher and I feel absolutely hopeless and dissatisfied in myself. I take it on July 1st again. I am hoping the setting of a test center will increase my chances of doing better as I do not seem to do well at home. Does anyone have any last minute tips?

Do you have your diagnostic report from your last test by any chance?

I do not. I have reviewed my practice tests on magoosh and it seems like I struggle with the reading comprehension questions in verbal and the percentages in quant as well as the QC questions.

Have you taken an ETS practice test recently?

Yes! The last one I took was an ETS power prep test.

Paste its score report here.

I can’t comment much on verbal (are you native English?), but for quant, I think you still have foundational weaknesses. You said that you have practiced 700 questions, where from?

Yes, I am native English, haha. On my official test I scored a 151V. The reading comprehension has just been kicking my butt since then. I have been using Magoosh currently and then I ran across this website from a Facebook group and decided to check it out as well.

For quant at least, I think you need to look at the foundational series at Class Recordings - GregMat.

Been looking at them for about two weeks now and My practice test finally got up to 298!
