Hi I have couple questions as best approaches to study. I am kind of overwhelmed!
A little background on me - I grew up in North America and did all my schooling here from Kindergarten to University. I have majored in Finance. I am looking to apply to MBA schools in 2027 cycle. I do have time to write GRE ( if needed multiple times). I am currently working full-time and sometimes overtime.
Study Advice?: I am currently doing 2 month plan. I tried dividing up verbal 1 day and quant the next but it’s still too much. By the time I do videos and homework, it’s 5-6 hours. I am sleeping 1 -2 am. What would be a more effective way to this without this taking an effect on my retention. I am trying to be as disciplined as I can.
**Tips & Strategies:** I watched Day 1 of Verbal and Quant. For Verbal I am doing great on vocab but math strategy - I can solve if its support or contrast but I am struggling on what word/idea to look at or like to figure out the rest. Do you have tips? Kind of overwhelmed because I have been speaking fluent English growing up.
For quant, I have been doing great on topics, for the most part its revisiting concepts I’ve learned in my middle school and secondary school but when I go to questions on the GregMat website, I get stumped. Also I have noticed that some questions are relating other topics such as work rate problems or permutations - do I skip those and answer when I get to that or just attempt even if I get wrong? What is the best strategy to go. I can only really do easy and medium.
Any help, tips or advice is really appreciated! Thank you in advance!
