Hello everyone, I came across Vince Kotchians vocab app and it seemed like it would be very helpful for me. If I substituted learning sets of vocab through his app rather than studying the gregmat vocab sets on quizlet, do you think I will be equally prepared? Also for the people that did use his app, did you see many of the words from his app on the actual GRE? Thanks in advance guys I appreciate it!

P.S. - You can do any vocab list you want but always remember that there is no amount of vocab words that you can remember and say this will be enough
Hi! I’ve been using Vince’s app longer (306 days) than I’ve been using GregMat+ (less than 2 months) and the app is really well made. However, after being exposed to Greg’s list, I see there is a kind of a structure that he used when he was putting together the list. Like, I felt that the list was doable and not too hard, you know? The words seemed familiar and then obviously there are some few challenging words in each list depending on your vocab knowledge.
On the hand, even though Vince’s app has a huge collection of words and word roots (1400+ total) and has spaced repetition baked into it, you’ll notice that it gets tedious at times. You can set the daily card limit, but you can not see which card you reviewed on what day, which card you forgot, how many cards are due today and how many are new. Now, all of these can be done using Anki. So, I recommend you either import Vince’s quizlet cards into Anki if you are familiar with it, or use Greg’s list. As Kremlin said,
