Hi everyone, my exam is approaching and is less than a month. I am pretty overwhelmed by the quant flashcards and practice quizzes. It takes me awhile to get through 10 days as I am punctilious when it comes to reviewing.
If you had to pick a few, which set on the Quant Mountain is the most vital set to memorize and know my heart?
Just general advice as I don’t have a statistical breakdown of the gre math content. You should try to study things that are big weaknesses for you, and spend less time, efficiently, to review things you already know (obviously dont want to forget them).
So try to assess what your strengths and weaknesses are and tackle those selectively, if you are in a time crunch.
I will also say that its not so much that geometry is more important than algebra, for example. All of the topics will be on the test. Its moreso that the hardest questions and most complex topics within each category are less likely to play a larger role on the test.
To that end, it might also be worthwhile to consider if you don’t need to be as punctilious as you are now, given the timeframe. Remember, you dont need to score 100% on every topic quiz to get a great quant score. Try to go as fast as you can, but as slow as you have to, in order to get a decent majority of the material down. Perfection is not required.
