Support and Contrast Query

Can somebody explain this one, I didn’t get it.

The first sentence does not provide sufficient evidence to guess the first blank, however the second sentence tells us about the decline of musical culture in America now. Using that you can deduce that the first sentence is something negative and is supported by the second sentence. The third sentence justifies that missing out on such orchestras is not a loss currently, so the third blank is miss. The fourth sentence speaks about the former glory of musical culture that is highlighted by “late gilded age” meaning a golden age gone by thus the fourth blank can be some word related to ‘importance’.

Hope it helps

What helps more is asking the person to put more than zero effort in - spoonfeeding solutions isn’t the path to mastery.

Sorry I never thought of it that way, I just come to the forum to solve stuff and because I learn more from my own and others’ mistakes. I will be sure to remember that in the future.
