I understand that the support in this sentence is so…that, but I am confused as to why the blank would be a positive word.
i.e. of idea 1 [considered… dangerous] is bad and “so…that” is meant to support that, then shouldn’t idea 2 [he criticized….so ____.] also be negative? Therefore, the blank should be negative?
