TC and SE Homework doubt - Study Plan Day 1

Hey, I’m new a subscriber to GregMat+ and I like the lectures and the structure. I went thru week 1 day 1 verbal given in the two-month study plan and assumed I understood the lecture pretty well. When it came to the homework, my approach to every question is right, methodically. I discarded the answers, recognised if it’s supporting or contrasting, and find the clue and do the “math”. But I go wrong when it comes to picking the choice -
For HW q3, for a synonym of unbiased, I picked “rationality” considering it a good word that means unbiased whereas the correct one was “disinterested”.

For q2, to go for the opposite of rude/bizarre, I picked novelty over urbanity, since it seemed more positive to me.

How can I go about correcting my understanding and improving the picking of options? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hey, from what I can see, you need to work on your vocab.
Rationality means logical, Disinterested means unbiased
Novelty means uniqueness, Urbanity means sophisticated
You did a good job with figuring out the logic and guessing a word for the blank but chose the wrong synonym/antonym.

Thanks Yashraj! So for Vocab, the flashcards given in the plan would be fine?
