B2 answer: dissimilar
I don’t get why blank 2 is dissimilar. “yet” draws contrast. So the second part says there is actually a lot of difference between these campaigns, and thus what comes before “yet” should be contrasting this, and saying that there isn’t much difference between the candidates. So shouldn’t the answer be “interchangeable”? If we say dissimilar than it acts like support.
The contrast is between “are” and “hide” in this case, not between “differences” and blank2.
