Test at center or test at-home?

Most of my friends attempted GRE at a test center and suggested me to do the same, saying that proctoring in the home can be an issue.

Can someone tell if this is indeed true and what mode should I choose?

Yes it is true. You might face lot of issues. Also, if something happens and your test gets terminate midway, ETS, being an AH, will say we can’t do anything.Retake the test. So better give in center.
