Test day preparedness

Hi! I am super anxious that I’ll log in from my home computer on test day and the proctor will say that my materials are not appropriate / my space is not appropriate.

I have a steno-pad like notebook of 5 sheets of whiteboard with a whiteboard marker (given to me by kaplan… sorry…. greg is 10x better). Is this acceptable? Am I able to have an eraser on my desk too? And aside from taking everything off my desk, is there anything else I should do to prepare my space? I live in NYC so it isn’t possible to make my entire background completely voided of stuff.

Thank you so much in advance.

Sorry you’re experiencing stress over the set-up for test day. At home tests definitely come with their own set of anxieties.

Here is the ETS page on at-home testing:

It should answer most of your questions, and if you have any other questions not listed on this page, you should contact ETS directly to ensure you’re receiving accurate information.
