I removed recommendations and arguments because i did agree on contrast and think “even if something was done, people remained skeptic” Has to be safeguards, provisions or laws, recommendations and arguments are not enough powerful.
Now
B. even after safeguards against the excesses of the popular sovereignty were included
C. even after provisions against the advantages of the popular sovereignty were included
E. even after laws against the creation of the popular sovereignty were included – removed this choice because “creation of” “popular” doesnt make sense.
But I chose C because provision against advantages of monarchy seemed correct. and “Excesses” of what? I still dont understand why provisions, advantages is incorrect here.
