The question only states that S has (p+q) Ls and one O, but it does not state that S has only Ls and Os - As such, shouldn’t the answer be D, since we cannot say for certain whether or not letters other than O and L are included…?

I think it’s kind of implicit, no?

That’s what I am wondering. I don’t know if this is something that counts as an “unreasonable assumption” or not.

If this was GMAT I would say “this is a reasonable assumption”, but the GRE tends to be tighter in its questions, so I made the change.
