In the TOEFL Study Plan - Reading Session 3, Greg mentioned that the score will drop quickly if inference and sentence rephrasing questions are answered incorrectly. Why is that the case? Is it because of the mere quantity of these questions or their importance?
I would also like your view on how the score changes for other question types, especially the summary question. I’m asking this for the worst-case scenario. For e.g., If I’m running out of time and I have to choose between an inference question and a detail question, which one to choose? Also if I get all the questions correctly except the summary ones, is it possible to get 26 as summary questions are in total 4 points?
