Transition from Untimed to Timed Practice

Hello,
I am doing pretty good with the untimed practice and i now wish to do timed practice. I wanted to know about time split for each sections. Like how much time should i give for TC and RC questions .Also, please provide info with the quant section.
Thankyou for your help.

Hi! In general, you should not spend more than 2 mins on any question. It’s tough to say exactly how much time to spend on each type, so I’d suggest playing to your strengths. For example, if probability tends to trip you up, save those for last. If you’re great at 2-blank TCs, knock those out first to build confidence.

How you approach the sections can really help with time management too. When I took the test, I did verbal in this order: SE → TC → RC. For quant, I started with the regular problem-solving questions, then chart interpretation, and saved the QC stuff for last. That’s just what worked best for me—definitely do what works for you! And of course, please skip if you feel like a question is taking too much time to answer!

Here’s also a breakdown of the timing for the exam, pulled from the ETS website:
