Verbal ETS TC doubt

Hello @gregmat

please explain this in one of live classes if possible

What’s your analysis of it so far?

I did understood that 1st and 2nd blank should be opposites of each other here and I didn,t understood how to figure out 3rd blank

Nice analysis. If the primary sources were “dubious” or “incomplete,” then they really couldn’t contradict anything right?

Also, if “dubious” is correct, so is “incomplete” in a way. They’re both negative and both are saying the primary sources suck. So “reliable” must be correct.

Ok! I got it thank you!

Hello @gregmat

so I understood this method but suppose we choose numbers and I choose a right triangle with sides 3-4-5 = x-y-z respectively in this case x+y+z = 12 and 2z = 10 so please tell me where am I wrong or maybe is option D correct?

In that case A would still be larger, which is what we found with the other method too

yeah 12>10 oops! I was in half sleep while doing this :joy: sorry!
