enmeshed in a web of personal and social circum-
stances.

Idea 1 and Idea 2 contrast each other and idea two is related to how everyone has a personal view of things thus, idea one will be the opposite of this or neutral view of everything.

Option that matches the above idea : D

If i am not wrong, the bold part must form the first idea as it is a complete sentence and the second idea after “:” must have the same idea as the first part, right? Can you please explain how you considered the first part and the second part?

Moreover, how passionate fits in second blank, are you taking the opposite of neutral?
And why did you eliminate option (B) ?

being rational doesn’t indicate being bias while if you’re passionate towards a thing you can be biased about it .

Though indicate a contrast

Isn’t this outside knowledge (Like passionate could mean biased) ? I think it a tough question ugh!

No, checkout the opposite of passionate

How does indifferent mean biased?

Opposite aka Antonym , thus passionate has an antonym in indifferent (disinterested ) so, what is the opposite of indifferent ? Bias
