Vocab question

I’ve noticed that the definitions for vocab words on the GregMat vocab mountain are occasionally different from the definitions in the provided quizlets. To best prepare for the GRE, which definitions should we go off of in these cases?

To provide an example, the word “polemical” is defined in the quizlet as “of or involving strongly critical or disputatious writing or speech,” but is defined on the vocab mountain as “giving a strong, controversial opinion.” I know there is some overlap in these definitions, but, at least in my opinion, they do not express the same thing (being strongly critical of something isn’t necessarily controversial (there are many things most people are critical of), and having a controversial opinion about something doesn’t necessarily mean you are critical of it (it could be that supporting something is the more controversial opinion)).

The cases I’ve noticed these differences are usually similar, where there is some overlap in the ideas that the definitions express, but they are different.

I think the quizlet part is provided via volunteers; thus, If I have to decided b/w the two, I will mostly go with vocab mountain definition of the word (these are done by GregMat Team) .
