Just curious to know what most folks prefer, when dabbling with the experimental section. If given the choice would you rather spend your time sifting through an additional quant section or Verbal section?

Quant it is for me.
I picked the wrong option and can’t change it, so will say that I prefer a quant experimental section, because I am disproportionally strong in quant and hence am reasonably confident to handle a potentially “hard” experimental. My actual test was a verbal experimental though.
Edit: the option can indeed be changed, oops
Seems a useless vote here. You don’t have a choice in a real test therefore such curiosity is just a pure waste of time.
Ah I agree we choose to stick with our strengths. In most of the test experiences that I read, I feel everybody always gets VQVQV lol.
Additionally, I attended an official GRE webinar recently where they said that if the last section happens to be explicitly mentioned as “research” then we can choose to skip it as well (though it wasn’t recommended).
It was just for a breather during our vigorous prep
All the best!
That is true, but I’ve never seen a test report of that happening. Even in ETS research, they often try to do their experiments in the standard unmarked experimental section.
I think it’s a question of curiosity personally, don’t see the harm with keeping this up (even if the sample size is too low) even though this forum is much less offtopic-friendly than the old Discord. You’re right in that we don’t have the choice in the actual test.
Where is it? I saw people say the Discord server no longer exists. Is it still on? In addition, I have a hard time with finding HW solutions. A fair amount of questions are being left with intact status. I have to google it.
It was shot dead (formally, there is nothing in it now). The old Discord was more amenable to off-topic discussion and general social, while this is intended to be serious in comparison.
As for HW solutions, @admin_gregmat may be able to help.
@chloel97 you can find homework solutions in the subsequent classes.
