Hey guys just wanna hear y’all tips an tricks on how to review your wrong answers and maximize the effectiveness of limited ETS questions! Both verbal and quant tips are appreciated. Thanks:)
I did a lot for verbal prep, so here are some of the methods I found very useful:
- Study with a partner who scored high on the GRE verbal(a 165ish would be enough). This could be extremely effective in finding your errors when got stuck. Ask them the questions you confused and the reason they had behind that right answer choice.
- Firstly, do untimed practice, then timely practice. If u have the condition, again, drag someone who is good at verbal, ask them practice with you together, so you can have a sense of the accuracy and speed when solving problems
- Review vocab list every fuckin day, never be lazy on vocab
- Pass your chillin time by reading good written articles, try to write mini summary about them. This is extremely helpful for permanent memorization about dense GRE vocab
- When you argue something with someone, try to use the vocab you learned in the GRE lol( BE CAREFUL, YOU MIGHT INCUR HATE BY FOLLOWING THIS TIP)
Last one, follow greg’s methods( I mean especially verbal )as possible as you can. Ask yourself some questions Greg like to ask students when doing reading, try to answer them , then let your prep bestie gauge your answers
Basically, above is all. Happy study!
