What is Hammer time?

  1. What is the meaning of hammer time in verbal videos? Does it mean a contrast or main idea?

As per above link, is it safe to not answer(skip) questions. Doesnt skipping questions hurt the final score like GMAT?

Skipping questions and coming back is absolutely fine within a section - the GMAT works completely differently.

Both. Generally, a massive contrast in a reading passage tends to be the main idea.
