I linked you to a post on how to write better questions. Read it carefully and update your post accordingly.
Dear Team
What is missing in the question posted ??
For one: you provided no attempt to explain why your answer is acerbity.
I understand why you went with ‘acerbity’ (previously referenced-tying it to words sarcasm and mockery). The principle is ‘meaning overrides strategy’ –> ie, meaning takes precedence over strategy. It does not make sense to say that ‘a very negative quality’ makes a book charming. It looks like there is some other redeeming quality that makes the book charming despite the sarcasm and mockery. Therefore, you need a positive word in the blank that goes well with charm. “Charm” pairs naturally with exoticism (“exotic charm” is an idiom). Profundity (depth of thought) is serious/weighty and doesn’t typically infuse charm; it makes writing thoughtful, not charming. Therefore, exoticism fits that role far better than profundity.
nice answer, but spoonfeeding just encourages laziness.
