Which Study Plan? Re attempting in 1 month

Hi everyone,

I recently joined the course and I’m planning to retake the GRE on April 6. I took the GRE on March 2, 2026, and my scores were 156 Quant and 154 Verbal. My goal for the retake is to reach at least 162 in both sections, so I’m aiming for roughly a 6–8 point improvement in each.

My diagnostic report hasn’t arrived yet, but in the meantime I’ve been working through the ETS Math Review, which I’ve now completed. It took me quite a while to finish, so I’m trying to plan the rest of my preparation efficiently given the limited time.

Currently:

  • For Quant, I started the “I Am Overwhelmed” plan for foundations.

  • For Verbal, I’m following the 1-month study plan.

However, since I just took the GRE recently, I’m already familiar with many of the quant topics. The issue is that I didn’t perform well on some of the foundation quizzes, even though I understand the concepts. Because of this, I’m unsure how quickly I should move through the “I Am Overwhelmed” plan.

My main questions:

  1. After completing the ETS Math Review, should I continue with the “I Am Overwhelmed” plan, or move directly to the 1-month study plan for Quant?

  2. What would be the most efficient way to improve Quant from 156 → 162+ in about 4–5 weeks?

  3. How can I move through the foundation material faster if I already know some of the concepts?

Any advice on how to structure the next few weeks of preparation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance!
