I recently attempted the gre general test and obtained a score of 156 in verbal and 161 in quant. I had solved the entire manhattan 5 lb book for quant and used ets book for verbal practice questions. I also practiced some verbal questions from kaplan. I had scored 320 + in magoosh, kaplan, manhattan and princeton review free mock tests. I had scored 322 in ets powerprep test 1. But, I floundered in actual test. I need to get 165+ in quant. I have learned magoosh basic and common words plus gregmat 960 word list.
I had not taken gregmat subscription or any other course before my first attempt. I need suggestions on which study plan to follow for my second attempt? My target score is 325+.
I would try either the 1 month or 2 month plan depending on your timeframe. Make sure to take advantage of the Quant Flashcards & Quizzes, as well as the HW’s.
In addition, feel free to try out these diagnostic forms to assess any strengths or weaknesses:
Yes, that is fine. If the 2 month isn’t working for you for Verbal after a few days, then feel free to try out the 1 month plan or I’m Overwhelmed Plan
I believe the “I’m Overwhelmed Plan” does not include the different quant strategies as separate videos. If that is a deciding factor, then the 1 month plan may be better, or you could do the “I’m Overwhelmed Plan” and just watch those quant strategy videos and do the associated problems from the 1 month plan. Up to you
